Late last month a Mumbai tabloid reported that Katrina's boyfriend, Salman Khan, threw her belongings out of his ground floor home in Galaxy Apartments, Bandra West, in a fit of rage after finding texts from John Abraham, her New York co-star, on her cell phone.
Katrina denied the report and claimed that she had not been in touch with John over the phone as was being alleged. However, the tabloid stuck to its story.
Katrina now acknowledges having been in contact with John.
"It was a mistake and sometimes mistakes can happen. But this particular issue was blown out of proportion. It was like this Chinese whisper, which went on and on."
"Everyone goes through their own journey. Sometimes things can get hurtful. But sometimes too much intrusion of privacy can get to you, but I know that this is something that you cannot avoid. You know, being a woman, there have to be lines drawn somewhere. But I am the kind who accepts that this is my journey and I have to go through some amount of hurt."
